More stars depart Korea for MBC’s ‘50th Anniversary Korean Music Wave Concert’

More of Korea’s top idols have left for Bangkok on the evening of March 11th to prepare for their performances at the Rajamangala National Stadium on the 12th.
MBC decided to hold their “50th Anniversary Music Wave Concert” in Thailand, and so the media had parked itself at Incheon International Airport to capture shots of idols departing.
Many stars showed off their ‘airport fashion’ as TVXQ, B2ST, 4minute, and MBLAQ were the latest idols to be snapped as they showed off their casual denim outfits.

MBC to hold a charity concert with Fuji TV and Avex in Japan for 50th anniversary

Earlier this week, MBC’s “Show! Music Core” revealed that they were planning a special overseas concert in celebration of their 50th anniversary.  Further details were finalized today, and the project is a collaboration between MBC, Fuji TV, and Avex.
The concert – named as the “Legendary East 2011 Korean Music Wave Live in Tokyo” – is a charitable event for which all profits will go towards the ‘Good Friends Save the Children‘ organization.
The impressive line-up includes TVXQ, B2ST, 2AM, f(x), SHINee, MBLAQ, 4minute, SG WannaBe, miss A, SECRET and many others.  The second line-up list will be revealed on March 16th.
Representatives of “Legendary East 2011″ commented, “By combining Korea’s broadcast production system with Japan’s concert production know-hows, this will be one of the best concerts ever made.  We hope that the audience all over the world will enjoy and share the music presented by the greatest Hallyu stars.”
The concert is scheduled for May 14th at the Saitama Super Arena.

MBC Music Core is preparing a concert in Japan for their 50th anniversary

MBC’s “Show! Music Core” is preparing a special overseas concert to celebrate their 50th anniversary!
Further details (such as dates and the country selected) have yet to be finalized, but MBC has revealed that Japan and Thailand are amongst the top contenders.
One promotional post was seen on a Japanese fansite stating,”On May 14th, MBC will be holding a 50th anniversary Show! Music Core 2011 at Tokyo’s Saitama Super Arena.” The promotional post goes on to list TVXQ, SHINee, B2ST, 4minute, f(x), and 2AM as the line-up.
Representatives of MBC stated, “There haven’t been any detailed statements made regarding our overseas concert, but it is currently in discussion.”
