MBC airs performances from the ‘K-POP Music Festival in Sydney’

MBC recently aired the ‘K-POP Music Festival in Sydney’.  The concert took place on November 12th at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia.   It was held to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and South Korea as well as the 50th Anniversary of public broadcasting station MBC.

Many of your favorite k-pop idol groups performed at the event including: SNSD, TVXQ, B2ST,SHINee, 4minute, miss A, Sistar, KARA, Secret, CNBLUE, 2AM, and MBLAQ.

There were also several unique special stages including a cover of Beyonce‘s “Halo” by Hyorin, Jo Kwon, 2AM’s Changmin, and 4Minute’s Gayoon as well as a Girls’ Generation & SHINee collaboration.  CNBlue, G.O. and B2st’s Yoseob also had a special performance.

Though MBC did not air all the performances by each artists, every group had at least one broadcasted performance.

TVXQ, B2ST, SHINee, MBLAQ, miss A, KARA, 2AM and 4minute head to Australia for ‘K-POP Music Festival in Sydney’

On November 10th, many fans gathered at the Incheon International Airport for a chance to have a glimpse of their favorite idols.

TVXQ, B2ST, SHINee, 4minute, miss A, 2AM, and MBLAQ, arrived sporting their airport fashion to take a plane to Sydney, Australia for the ‘K-POP Music Festival in Sydney‘.

Showing off their autumn look artists wore leather jackets and trench coats. Of course no airport fashion is complete without sunglasses, hats, bags, ear phones and masks.

The ‘K-POP Music Festival in Sydney’ will take place on November 12th at the ANZ stadium. The concert will be aired through MBC on December 3rd.
